We know him as a theologian of sorts, but his day-to-day job was more practical: to form and sustain thriving, connected groups of Christians.
His first letter to the Thessalonians is our best window into how that work began. He wrote it almost immediately after he had planted a brand new Christian group, so we can glimpse his secrets to the community very clearly here.
